Reality feels like a dream, but dreams feel real

  • Again, crappy emotions but whatever. Need to know if anyone else feels like this lol
  • So, have any of you guys dealt with dissociation or feeling surreal, so being awake in reality just feels like a dream, or like a movie playing. But when you're dreaming, it feels like it's actually happening and it's real? Idk, I'm weird.

Feeling content after being suicidal?

  • I don't know why but I just got a sense of calm or content after like 2 days of feeling suicidal. I guess it's because I've gotten over a massive wall in my mental health and life, but I guess so. I'm wondering if anyone has felt the same?

Tranquillity - a message for you all.

A buzzing sound that stopped abruptly every two seconds filled the room. Tranquillity lay in the air whilst beams of warm light cascaded through the open spaces of the closed blinds. Tranquillity, that was the feeling, right? The feeling of being dazed and feeling like you’re still in a dream as you’ve just woken up from your sleep. The sounds of the place you live in. Maybe the wind, the cars, the trees dancing or the birds singing in the morning. Maybe a neighbour sending love with their fingers gracefully tapping the piano keys and sending chords to your soul to give the feeling to their neighbours. Or what about your beautiful pet looking at you and giving it love first thing in the morning? To forget all those worries for just a minute and to focus on you, your soul, your mind, your being for the day. It’s something, isn’t it? Maybe cherish that feeling for that day. I mean, maybe someone woke up to the opposite of tranquillity.

Perhaps, distress and panic as there is something lurking in the corner. Maybe the sound of gunfire out in the bliss of the night. Or the shouting of people and glass smashing against something. A dull blade being sharpened. The sound of whimpers. Not very pleasant, oh no it isn’t. No one wants to wake up to that, right?

A feeling of a safe haven just after a nightmare is desired. To look up to your spouse and see their face staring down at yours in pure bliss. To wake up to your platonic partner making breakfast as your small patters added to the atmosphere. Seeing your mum look graceful as she made food for both of you as she will be finding applicable areas to work. Your sibling laughing at you for accidentally tripping, and you joining in as they have a goofy smile. That delicious taste filling your mouth as you took the first bite and savoured the moment. Hearing a child giggling as they exited their house for school. A woman laughing on the phone with someone she loved as she needed someone to talk to first thing in the morning, and someone was there for her. The tears of joy as you see your child speak or hold or walk for the first time, or maybe seeing your pet is a little goofball as your loved one walks in and joins in. The sound of our favourite music wafting through the air through sound waves as you cooked breakfast or got ready for the day. Maybe texting your friends or replying to emails. Or your loved one checking your health as you’re sick and are staying in bed, but their beautiful face filled with concern for you makes your heart swell with pure admiration. Watching the weather do its magic with a cup of your favourite beverage. These are the tranquil moments of the early day. As the dawn flashes its smile at the civilians, you can feel that tranquillity.

 Remember that.
